Many private Marinas are
scattered along the Croatian Adriatic sea, the largest Croatian
marina is "Marina Dalmacija", it is not only a private marina but
has also been awarded the prestigious "Blue Flag" award.
Most private marinas are
well equipped and provide equivalent facilities to the larger chain
ACI Club marinas.

On entering Croatian waters the skipper must report
to the closest international border control, permanent border
crossing are: Dubrovnik, Korcula, Mali Losinj, Ploce, Porec, Rasa (Brsica),
Rijeka, Rovinj, Sibenik, Split, Ubli, Umag, Vela Luka and Zadar.
Seasonal border crossings between April and November
operate at the following locations: ACI Marina Umag, Bozava,
Cavtat, Hvar, Komiza, Novigrad, Primosten, Sali, Stari Grad (Hvar)
and Vis.
At the border crossing the skipper must purchase a
vignette and produce the following: a crew list, third party
insurance policy and ownership certificate or use authorizations
from the owner.
Boats under 2.5M or engine power is less than 5KW,
the vignette is optional.
