Croatian number plates consist of two letters, the Croatian Coat of Arms, three or four number, followed by either one or two letters.

The first two letters represent the town of registration, the example above is from Sibenik.

Custom number plates can be custom, but this is usually very rare, the prices must it very prohibitive.  The other types of number plates available in Croatia are for military vehicles, these number plates begin with either HV or VP, HV means Hravtska Vojska (Croatian Miliatry), VP means Vojska Policija (Military Police)
