Croatia's main television viewing is provided by HRT (Hrvatska Radio Televizija). HRT has been providing television for Croatia for almost 50 years,  currently there are two programs broadcast, HTV1 and HTV2.

HRT produces about 60% of its programming, the remainder is imported from either the US and Germany.  HRT is a nation wide network controlled by HRT Zagreb head office, there are regional offices which assist in providing a national TV Service. HRT online TV guides

Besides HRT the only other Croatian television broadcaster is Nova TV, they started broadcasting a few years ago and now have a large viewer audience mainly due to the successful programming which consists of mostly foreign movies and TV shows.  Nova TV also broadcasts a local version of Big Brother and Croatian Idol.  Nova TV also offer an online TV guide
